Fitness for Polo – Martin Perez Seminar
Introducing the exciting new event to be held on the 28th of February at the Royal Selangor Polo Club. An event that is dedicated exclusively to fitness training for polo, the Fitness for Polo Clinic involves a morning full of seminars and activities with leading fitness expert Martin Perez.
Martin Perez is a physical coach who has specialised in polo for the last 7 years. His experience and expertise have led him to be one of the most sought after and respected trainers in the polo community. Training some of the world’s top teams and players, and writing for PQ, Pololine and a popular blog, he has decided to share his knowledge and experience on a wider scale.
The seminar will involve a short talk on the theory behind Fitness for Polo that will teach you the importance behind specific polo training, as well as how to properly train, warm up and recover specifically for polo. The seminar also covers basic anatomy and polo biomechanics, how to improve your technique through different exercises and fitness solutions plus a short section on nutrition and hydration. You will then join Martin outside to put into practice all that you have just learnt.
Martin will lead you in different warm ups, cool downs, drills and exercises (nothing too physically demanding) that will help any player to prepare better for matches, avoid injury and to fix any swing flaws.
This is a hugely interactive, new and fun event which will not only teach you about the benefits of training for polo but could also help improve your game and your lifestyle.
Join renowned polo fitness expert Martin Perez and learn how to take your game to the next level. Martin will teach you invaluable lessons for fitness exercises, nutrition and more. The cost of the seminar is US$100 or RM370 per person.
