Western Australia Tour: Serpentine and Polo in the City


Experience the thrill of Australian polo.  Together with Polo Kidogo and Serpentine Polo Club, KL Academy of Polo has put together a 5-day tour that combines the great social event Polo in the City with play at one of Western Australia’s oldest and best clubs.  Great cooch grass field at Serpentine Polo Club.  

Get coached and play with experienced instructors – Brett Kiely and Darren Smith.  Schoolmaster ponies are for sale with discounts on ponies if you choose to buy them after playing them in the tour.

Wednesday 3rd December
Approx 3 pm Arrive Perth Malaysian Airlines

Thursday 4th December
10 am Try horses at Polo Kidogo/Serpentine Polo Club
Lunch at Millbrook Winery, Jarrahdale.

Friday 5th December
10 am Four chukkas at Serpentine.
Lunch in Fremantle and afternoon visit Fremantle markets.

Saturday 6th December
Polo in the City
Exhibition polo matches played on the Swan River foreshore on small field with an arena type ball with polo professionals flying in to compete.  This is a major event in the Perth social scene. See link  www.polointhecity.com

Sunday 7th December
10.30 am Play a match against a Serpentine Polo Club team.
Leave Serpentine for airport at 1pm for a 4.30 flight to KL

Polo cost – Australian $2500 per person.
Serpentine Polo Club weekly membership $100 to be completed online.

The KL Academy of Polo is formed by three passionate polo players – Malaysian World Cup captain Shaik Reismann, RMPA Executive Secretary Peter Abisheganaden and lawyer Stanley Sinnappen. Based in Kuala Lumpur, the KL Academy of Polo conducts activities in the Klang Valley and abroad.
